Balancing act

Well I was finally able to get Tylee and her dads balancing act on camera! She loves when her dad does this! He holds her feet in one hand and she just balances! To most people this freaks them out and they are so scared he will drop her, but he doesn't. . . As you can see in the picture she thinks it is pretty great!
Tylee has learned that smile for the camera means she gets her picture taken. . . yes she totally hams it up. All you have to say to get a smile from her these days is "smile for the camera" and pretend to take a picture. Pretty funny!
I finally was able to get a picture of her teeth or actually Tyler was able to so yes you can all finally see her cute little teeth.
Poor little Tylee has caught the flu and threw up for the very first time. It is so sad when your baby is sick. This is the first time she has ever really been sick! A huge thanks to my mom for helping me clean up. Tylee is so sweet because even though she does not feel good she still just smiles. Such a sweet girl.
I have gone back to work 2 days a week now. It has been hard for me and Tylee, but we are surviving. Other than that things are normal.
Oh I almost forgot Tyler says I have to post something about him in every blog so he can feel special too. So here is some exciting news! As you all know Tyler put a SWEET fiber optic star ceiling in Tylee's room. Well, a fiber optic company found out and posted Tylee's room/ceiling on their website and sent Tyler free supplies for his trouble! I thought that was pretty neat! He is so talented and such a great dad. I mean really how many dads do you know that would spend hours on end in a hot attic just so their baby can have an awesome night light! Tyler you are the best!

Big girl Tylee

Well I guess I am really not getting better at posting. . . We have had some big exciting things happen though! Tylee has two VERY sharp little teeth!!!! I know I could not believe it either. She was not even really cranky. She was a little fussy and more clingy to us than usual but nothing that made me too suspicious, but then I was buckling her into her new big girl car seat and she was jabbering away as she does and I saw two little teeth! Well needles to say we were so excited and she looks so cute with them! She is loving to bite into things with them so feeding her has become quite interesting as it is hard to get the spoon back.
As I said she has a new big girl car seat and she LOVES it! I put a mirror on the headrest so we can see what she is doing. That has been a huge hit. . . Yes my daughter loves to look at herself in the mirror and talk and laugh and it's pretty funny and cute. It's good though because now she hardly sleeps in the car so it keeps us more on schedule with naps.
Tylee has also started sleeping through the night again! THANK GOODNESS! She goes to bed at 8:30 and is waking up at about 7:15. Rest well needed for all of us!
Tylee has been trying so many new foods lately. She loves her new sipee cup with appple juice and her little eyes just light up when I give it to her. Also we have found a new favorite treat. . . A VERY messy treat. The Gerber Biter biscuits. She loves these things, however they are so messy evertime she eats one she ends up with it in the strangest places up her nose, in her ear, down her diaper, even in the back of her hair. Silly girl.
I must say I am loving 6 months. I have loved every stage but 6 months is so great! She knows who me and Ty are and even gets upset when we leave. She is jabbering so much and it's so cute! She laughs when we tickle her and is starting to try to scoot about, the only problem being she has about as much patience as I do and gets very frustrated when she can't get where she wants to get fast enough.
As for me and Tyler we are doing great! I am still staying home with Tylee and he is still working for Comcast and going to school. I have to say again how proud I am of him for going to school! I know how hard it is but he never complains about anything!
We had a great Valentines Day. The Valentines Day fairy came and brought Tylee a new doll and Jammies. She loves her doll. As for me my sweet husband got me beautiful flowers and the other half of my lap top. . .(I got the other part for Christmas). We are doing great and loving family life! Hope all is well with everyone!
Tyler is very upset that I don't tell everyone about him as much as I do Tylee. . . He would love everyone to know that he can run real fast, ride his bike even faster, and he enjoys racing strangers on the street because he is so fast. His hobbies include lying on the bed with his shirt off, clapping to songs, sitting quietly on trips, and eating popsicles in the shower. His new favorite foods are eggs and gummi bears! Tyler is just to talented and cute and he is the best husband.

Well I am starting to get a little better about updates. . . that could be that I am not working right now so I have a little more time :) Yes I have been so lucky to be able to stay home with my beautiful little girl! I quit my job at the end of December and Tyler and I decided that I would take some time off to be with Tylee. Granted I am looking for a job while Tyler is in school something part time and close to home though.
Yes, Tyler is back in school. He is such a good husband to be working a full time job and going to school full time. I really am so blessed to have a husband that is so dedicated to his family and wants us to have the best life possible.
Tylee got her ears pierced! She did so well, there was not much crying and they look adoreable! She was most upset about us holding her head ( A huge thank you to my friend Jillyn for holding her). Tylee is growing up so fast! She can now pull herself up when sitting against something and then can sit all by herself! What a big girl! She is also eating food. . . We tried green beans lets just say she hated them! See the picture in the slide show it is pretty funny! Her favorite is baby oatmeal, sweet potatos, bannanas, and carrots. So basicly anything not green, she so takes after her dad! She is also so so so happy all the time. Her and Tyler are always laughing and playing. It is so cute and fun to see Tyler love being a dad so much and also see Tylee adore him so much, not surprising though.
Tylee had her first sleepover with Meema (my mom) She did great! She really seemed to have fun with my mom, but for those of you who know me it was the hardest thing to leave her. My poor mom had to hear me go through a list of things that Tylee likes and dislikes (as if she does not have seven kids) and how she needs to do this and that and her schedule. Needles to say Tylee was there just in time to go to bed until 1:00 p.m. the next day and her whole room as well as every toy was packed into the back of the jeep so that she would not miss anything or be bored. Now looking at it I am fully aware of what a dork I am :) When Tyler and I got home without her we could not belive how empty our house felt without our little girl. Making us realize how much she has changed our life for the best and how we really don't know what we would do without her smiles and laughs and even cries! She is our world and we love it that way!
As for me and Tylee we love staying home and playing. She is so fun and happy and I am so lucky to have such an amazing daughter. She really is the best thing we have ever done! Hope everyone is well!

Tylee has learned to do so many things lately! She is rolling front to back and back to front. It is so fun to watch her roll over to grab at toys! We got an excersaucer and she LOVES that thing! She will just sit and play in it and laugh. It is so fun for us to watch her and makes it so I can get a few things done around the house! She is also cutting her first tooth. . . needless to say she has been a little grumpy poor girl! She has discovered her feet and has taken a liking to them. We set her on her changing table and she just smiles and laughs at them and puts them in her mouth. She has also started to laugh when we blow on her belly (mostly when Tyler does). She has such a personality now and it so so much fun to watch her grow and learn new things.
We had Tylee's first Christmas and it was so fun on the 23 we went to my mom and dads house and had a fun party with my siblings and Tylee's cousins. It was so much fun we sang carols and and my mom read her usual Christmas story (though a little shorter for the kids) Then we opened gifts. Luckily Adam got to come home for Christmas from the marines and it was so nice to have him around and I am sure Katy agrees. Then on the 24 we had my other family party with my aunt and uncle. I love just being able to be with our families! On Christmas day we went to Tyler's moms house for breakfast and then just hung out for a while with the family. Always a good time.
Tylee got so many toys and books and clothes for christmas and she seems to enjoy them as much as she can at this age.
Tyler and I finally broke down and bought a new car. We really did not want to have a car payment again but decided we needed something bigger and safer for the baby! We LOVE our new jeep.
We found out that Angie is going to have another little boy Cardon Larsen and we are so excited to get him here and have another firend for Tylee. Our famliy just seems to keep growing!

Update!

So much has happened since my last blog (considering it was like 3 months ago)! We blessed Tylee and Tyler did such an amazing job. It was so fun to see all of our family and friends! It was such a busy weekend! First we had family pictures with Tylers family then her blessing! Needless to say we had one tired girl by the time we were done with all the fun things!

Tylee is getting so big! She can hold her head up all by herself now! She loves to hold our hands and stand and she thinks she is just the greatest thing when she does ( which she is)

She is smiling a ton now and laughing! She loves her dad he can get her to smile and laugh everytime (for those of you that know Tyler I am sure that is not surprising) We are so surprised at how fast she is growing and how much she is starting to be her own person! She has her own little personality and it is the sweetest! She has started talking and cooing! I love it, her little voice is so little and sweet! Her latest news is she can almost roll over! she gets all the way over except her darn head is just a bit to heavy still, so she gets stuck. She has also discovered her thumb and now chooses it over her binky most the time. She is so amazing!

She had her first Halloween and was dressed up as a ballerina! She was so darn cute! We had our usual party. I made taco soup and Tylers family came for dinner and then hung out and helped pass out candy and went through the haunted house. Which by the way a HUGE thank you to Jeremy! Tyler could not have got it done without you!

We all had such a great time with all the cousins playing. Everyone had such great costumes! Beck was the cutest turtle ever! My family came a little later to see the house and go through the haunted house! Which turned out so great this year!

Angie,Tiffany, and I decided to be adventerous and try to get Keller, Ethan and Tylee's pictures taken together for our parents for Christmas. . . needless to say it was a crazy crazy time. Keller just adores Tylee and is always wanting to hold her and kiss her. As a side note his mom is having a baby and Keller will be the best big brother ever! Ethan on the other hand is just not to sure about her. He likes her but can't decide what to do with her.

Really we are just living life and are so blessed to have such great families. Tyler and I also feel so blessed to have a healthy happy baby! I love to see her smile and hear her laughs.

Tylee is growing so fast!

Tylee is growing way to fast! She is 1 month old tomorrow and is finally starting to fit in 0-3 month clothes! Which is nice because she only had six onesies she could wear and 2 pairs of jammies. Needless to say i was doing laundry every other day!

Today she fit into her first actual outfit. It's a cute little pink sweat suit that her Aunt Jealin got her. She looks so adoreable in it and of course we took plenty of pictures! It's still a bit to big.Tylee is also starting to hold her head up for long amounts of time which is pretty exciting for us! I can't belive how much she has changed and grown in the past month! It is so much fun to see her do these new things.

Yesterday we dressed her up in her little white dress and took some pictures with her quilt. She looks so cute. She is just so much fun and such a good sport always letting me dress her up!It's so fun I noticed today that Tylee is starting to recognize other family memebers voices mostly just her grandma and grandpas.

She is also starting to look around quite a bit and stare at things! It's so fun to watch her look around and see new things.

Tylee got to meet my best friend and cousin Allison this weekend. Allison flew in from Colorado to meet Tylee! It was so fun having her here and Tylee loved to stare at Allison, probably because it was a new face.

Tylee is also starting to stick to her schedule which is nice She gets her bath at 8:30 eats at 9:00 and then is in bed when she is done then she sleeps for 2-3 hours in between feedings. She loves being in her crib and it is so funny you can tell when she is sleeping well because she puts both her arms up over her head.

She is just so fun and perfect and I love to watch everything she does! Amazingly it is never boring to just watch her sleep! She is just so perfect :) Then again I am kinda partial.

Tylee!

Tylee is here! Tylee Gabrielle Dickamore was born August 7, 2007 at 5:07 a.m. she weighed in at 5 lbs 11 oz and a length of 19 in! Everything went great!

I never imagined how much I could love someone! It has been so much fun to watch her grow. Even though she is only four weeks old she has changed so much! She is the best baby and smiles all the time (even though it is probably gas)

Most babies her age are only drinking 1-2 oz, but little Tylee takes after her dad and is eating 3-4 oz. She is starting to get little chubby cheeks which we love!

Her favorite time is bath time she LOVES having her hair washed by her daddy and he loves doing it.
I always new Tyler would be a great dad but he has surprised me by just how great he is! He adores her and will do anything for her! In fact one day he came home from work just to change a messy diaper. . . REALLY! How many moms can say that?!

As you can tell we just LOVE having her around and love just sitting and waiting for her to do the next cute thing :) Being parents is by far the best blessing you can ever have!
